Jonah’s letter is a bit more complex. He is very specific about the recipients of each of the “treats” he left out for Santa and interestingly, none of the treats were designated for Santa (carrot= sleigh team, candy cane = Mrs. Claus, gold ball (candy) = grand elf, and fudge = retired grand elves.) #1 details all the “Pokemon” cards on his wishlist, #3 refers to the DS video game console which he and Toby got for Christmas from their generous cousin Dan. Jonah was apparently concerned enough about having to share that he decided to ask Santa for his own. #4 is his take on a cell phone. His friends are beginning to get their own cell phones (arghh!) and apparently he’s seen commercials for “AT&T” since that is not our family’s cell phone provider. The power of advertising!
