Jonah's Band Concert

Jonah had a end-of-year band concert recently.  One hour before he was to be at school, he announced, "I need to wear a white shirt and black pants."

(Thank goodness we live 5 minutes away from Target!)

We didn't realize until we arrived and saw the program that Jonah performed a number of solos.  (The Advanced Band group IS really small, so he was not alone in having multiple solos!)

He played beautifully.  One selection, "Shalom Chaverim," which he played a solo for was echoed the following week in his vocal concert when he sang the solo for the same piece.  Wish I had recorded the vocal solo!
